Kannawidan in Vigan

When I said the January is the best time to visit Vigan, I didn't only mean because January is the city's fiesta but also because of the celebration of Kannawidan.

 

Kannawidan is celebrated to feature the hidden beauty and rich culture that lies within Ilocos Sur. It is a celebration that lasts from the last week of January to the first week of February. included in the course of events is the commemoration of the foundation day of the province. 

 

Different activities and events are held joined by children, students and people from different municipalities of Ilocos Sur. The Ilocos Government also invites different artists each year for the people to truly enjoy the celebration of Kannawidan.

 

Ilocos is the only place you can find when you want to reminisce our beautiful past. So be sure to come and visit SURE ILOCOS SUR.
