Have fun with Science!

Science is often viewed as a terror subject to most students- besides math. Memorizing elements, finding the velocity and all that. I mean what could be fun there? Every September, Science month is celebrated. To remind kids, students and to all of those who fear science, that you can have fun with science.

This years theme;"Metabolize: Nourishing the Filipino Youth Towards National Well-being" talks about the awareness of this generation's youth in their mental, physical, social and emotional health and how it is vital to how they respond to their environment as a citizen of this country. As the future leaders of this country, the participation and smart opinion of the Filipino youth is relevant in achieving and establishing a better society.

One of the highlights of the science month in Ilocos Sur National High School is the Search for G. at Bb. kalikasan wherein students get to showcase their beauty and brains, as well as their talents and knowledge about the current happenings in our environment. Students also get to showcase their love for music, talent in singging and playing instruments in the Himig Kalikasan. They also have the opportunity to show other students that science can be fun through SciTricks. There are many other activities of science month that can definitely prove that science is not to be feared.

Science should be a loved subjects, because Science is Fun!
