Dear Mr. President,
Philippines
is no perfect country, it has many issues to be fixed. It has many people who
are in need of help. Philippines and her people needs help to make her a better
place of living. Since the day you announced that you were planning on running
for president, people believed in you already. “Change is coming” that’s what
you said right?
Philippines
is a place screaming poverty. Streets filled with children begging for food and
money. Under bridges, houses made of rags are found. At night, homeless people
finding for a place to sleep. Many of
the Filipinos don’t have jobs. Many Filipinos don’t have enough money to feed
their families a three-day meal.
But then
again, all we need is a great leader. After months when they announced that you
were the president, noticeable changes did happen. One by one drug dealers,
users and pushers came out of hiding going either rehab or to jail. And I
admire you for that. Corruption that was occurring, you also tried fixing it,
slowly eliminating those who are corrupt. Again, I admire you for that.
There are
times when you tend to lose track of your words, say things that are brutally
honest and maybe inappropriate to other people. But all in all, I support you
as our current president.
Sir
president, I expect that the Philippines will
be a better place for living, and slowly with your guidance Philippines
will no longer experience poverty.
Sincerely yours,
