Prevention is Better than Cure

Storms, floods, fires, landslides, earthquakes, eruptions, Philippines encounter these often. But may I ask, are we really ready in times of disasters?

            One of the scariest disasters that may occur are the natural ones. Floods, earthquakes, we can’t tell when or where they would come right? These are the disasters are unpredictable, these are the events are results from the natural processes of the earth

Earthquakes are examples of these disasters. You will never know when these  occur, you will never know when plates will collide.

We can do nothing but be prepared incase situations like these happen. Every year schools prepare by conducting Earthquake Drill. They teach every student what should and shouldn’t be done when an actual earthquake occurs.

Days ago, NDRRMC lead the 2^nd Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) which aims to intensify local communities’ earthquake preparedness and increase the commitment of local government units in building safe communities.

They say prevention is better than cure and it’s good to see the government and its people working together for the safety of one another.
